Kevin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated with honors in Social/Cultural and Medical Anthropology. It was there that he began focusing his attention on more traditional systems of medicine and healing. He received a grant to study medicine men and curanderos in Peru and it was there that he began noticing many aspects of Chinese medicine incorporated in the local traditional forms of healing.
