Ian is licensed by the state of Rhode Island and certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and is a professional member of The American Massage Therapy Association. He is a 2010 graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Ian offers a number of modalities in his practice including: Traditional Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone Therapy, Myofascial Release, Acupressure and Active Isolated Stretching. Most recently he has completed Niel-Asher Technique Trigger Point Therapy Certification for the treatment of frozen shoulder.

Since the beginning of my practice in 2004, I have been focusing on people who have been to many other health care providers, and who have either been told there is nothing more to do for their condition, or who have not received satisfactory support for changing their health. In Chinese medicine, we refer to these illnesses as "knotty," meaning there are many confounding reasons a patient's health went astray. My practice focuses on pediatrics, autoimmune issues, hormonal imbalances, and women’s health.
