Hi!! I'm Dr. Carmen E. Jiménez. I am a bilingual (Spanish) Holistic Medicine Practitioner with a Master’s in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University (Los Angeles, CA) and a Bachelor's of Arts from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY). I am licensed by the State of Florida Department of Health as a Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and am qualified to provide Acupoint Injection Therapy. I also am a nationally certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In addition to Traditional Chinese Medicine, I am trained in various advanced techniques in Functional Physiology and Bio-Energetic Medicine. These include: Total Body Modification, Natural Healing Systems and Functional Nutrition, to name a few. ​Prior to becoming a Holistic Medicine Practitioner, I managed and helped develop clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies, domestically and internationally. I have extensive experience studying the effects of prescription medications on the body and this knowledge motivated me to pursue a change in career. I am passionate about self-empowerment through healing and I believe that the power that made the body also heals the body.
