Over the years I have worked as a hydrotherapist at "Beit Issie Shapira", Ilan sport center for the disabled ("spivak"), Beit Noam and as a independent hydrotherapist. I have treated people of different ages with a variety of physical handicaps and disabilities, managing pain and giving treatments for fun. Traditional Chinese Medicine as a way of life not only has the ability in relieving different stresses and diseases of modern times but also enables a way of life of health and disease free. A way to treat the person and not the disease. As a therapist with many years of experience, I interweave my essence and my experience as a hydrotherapist with being a therapist of Chinese Medicine. This is reflected both in the bodywork and with the Chinese internal medicine achieving an advantage of a personal and focused care, tailored to the unique needs of the patient, allowing a wide range of treatments tailored to the situation and purpose, whether water or whether the in the clinic, as an experience, through managing pain, dealing with the physical and/or the mental, pregnancy, sickness etc... I received my Acupuncture degree from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly Tai Sophia Institute). I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Oriental Medicine, which includes a Certification in Chinese Herbs as well as coursework in the application of integrative medicine. I am passionate about using my education to benefit my clients, bridging the gap between the Western model of healthcare and the empowerment of Chinese medicine. In the treatment room, I utilize acupuncture, acupressure and tui na techniques, Chinese herbs, moxibustion, gua sha, cupping, lifestyle coaching and Chinese dietary counseling to help clients learn how to heal themselves. Even with complicated and/or chronic situations, I believe that working with the body’s natural wisdom is the most profound way to engender true well-being.
