Kevin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated with honors in Social/Cultural and Medical Anthropology. It was there that he began focusing his attention on more traditional systems of medicine and healing. He received a grant to study medicine men and curanderos in Peru and it was there that he began noticing many aspects of Chinese medicine incorporated in the local traditional forms of healing. This sparked an interest to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in greater detail. After Notre Dame, he applied to Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA where he later received his Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine - a 4-year, year-round Masters program.
