Miguel Maya graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He holds a license for acupuncture from New York State and is nationally board certified in the use of chinese herbs. His practice includes a wide variety of patients with special emphasis on Fibromyalgia. From the more frequent complaints such as the common cold and migraine headaches to the less common but equally important imbalances as in Fibromyalgia and Frozen Shoulder. Mr. Maya is chief apprentice to master Fu Kui Yang, seventh generation practioner from China who now resides in New York to pass along his family's long tradition of Tui Na and the Martial Arts. Miguel maya is a board member of Pacific College's Alumni Association and is an advocate of the combination of eastern and Western approaches to health to improve the overall quality of a patients experience to medicine. He is a faculty member of Pacific College.
